Our Mission of Sustainable Practices

The most important aspect of our tattoo studio is living harmoniously with our earth. Our goal has been and will always remain to be; to minimize our impact on our environment that provides so much for all earthlings. Not only are we passionate about minimizing our impact at the tattoo studio, as well as our personal lives. Putting in the effort and energy to be sustainable is manageable and encouraged. Sustainability begins with each individual. communities must come together for the greater good of the planet.

Implementing Sustainability

At the tattoo studio, we try to implement a variety of sustainable practices. Our goal to minimize our carbon and ecological footprint. Single use plastics in the tattoo industry are one of the most harmful pollutants the tattoo industry secrete. To ensure clients safety, single use plastics must be used to maintain safe barriers for each person. At Black Needle Tattoo, we have been able to replace all of our single use plastics with compostable/ biodegradable alternatives. Even our mop is compostable!!

We are pioneering a sustainable business model to ensure a future for all of our planets inhabitants. Black Needle Tattoo wants you to have an enjoyable and guilt free tattoo experience. Our hope is to have a modest space running off the grid, surrounded by a lush permaculture garden. Outside of the Studio

The way humans navigate around their communities and use transportation is another important aspect of living sustainably. When possible, we encourage biking, walking, and emission free public transportation to arrive to Black Needle Tattoo. We each have to do our part to ensure we keep our green house gas emissions down. Try biking or walking to the nearest grocery store. Every effort counts towards keeping our emissions and carbon footprint down.

Even in our home lives, we hold ourselves accountable to finding more sustainable ways of living. Every sustainable practice we put into effect as individuals makes a huge impact on our communities and surrounding environments. Spreading the word “sustainability” and raising awareness to pave the way for a harmonious and balanced future. We need to take responsibility for our actions and stop exploiting the earth. The less dependent we are on fossil fuels and plastics, the better.
